Natasha Fürchtgott, DDS, MS
Meet Dr. Fürchtgott
Dr. Fürchtgott was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. She attended dental school at the University of Costa Rica and obtained a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2008. Following dental school, she went to The Ohio State University (2008-2010) and completed a two-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She continued training in the same institution as a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2010-2014) where she also obtained an MS (Master of Science) degree. Dr. Fürchtgott is fellowship-trained in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, which she completed at the University of Pittsburgh (2014-2015).
Dr. Fürchtgott is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She has published a book chapter in the latest edition of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery book by R. Fonseca. She is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association and Texas Dental Association.
Her clinical practice and special interest lies in the pediatric population and complex implant rehabilitation. She is committed to providing comprehensive treatment and practicing the full scope of her specialty. This includes extraction of teeth, placement of dental implants, bone regeneration procedures, surgical correction of cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, trauma, pathology, and facial reconstruction.
