Dr. Natasha Fürchtgott, DDS, MS, FACS was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Costa Rica in 2008. Following dental school, she completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University, where she went on to train as a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2010–2014) and earn a Master of Science (MS) degree. She then pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh (2014–2015).
Dr. Fürchtgott is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). She contributed to the most recent edition of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by R. Fonseca, and authored a chapter for “Craniofacial Microsomia and Treacher Collins Syndrome”. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Cleft Palate–Craniofacial Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She currently serves as Vice President of the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Alternate Delegate for Texas to the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).
She is the President Partner at High Desert Oral and Facial Surgery in El Paso, TX, and serves as an Attending Surgeon for the Texas Tech Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. Her clinical practice focuses on pediatric patients and adults requiring advanced reconstructive procedures. She performs surgeries for children with cleft lip and palate and other facial abnormalities, orthognathic surgery, and complex implant rehabilitation—including zygomatic implants. Dr. Fürchtgott is committed to providing comprehensive care and practicing the full scope of her specialty.
She is an active member of the El Paso Cleft Lip and Palate Team and, alongside her partners, participates in an international monthly volunteer Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

La Dra. Natasha Fürchtgott, DDS, MS, FACS nació y creció en San José, Costa Rica. Obtuvo su título de Doctora en Cirugía Dental (DDS) en la Universidad de Costa Rica en 2008. Tras finalizar sus estudios, completó una pasantía en Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial en la Universidad Estatal de Ohio (Ohio State University), donde posteriormente realizó su residencia en Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (2010–2014) y obtuvo una Maestría en Ciencias (MS). Posteriormente, llevó a cabo una beca de subespecialidad en Cirugía Pediátrica Craneomaxilofacial en la Universidad de Pittsburgh (2014–2015).
